Meet Kenneth Anderson, Gerald Anderson's brother

Kenneth or Ken is also a model and an aspiring actor who used to be one of Gerald's back-up dancers during mall shows.

I've heard he recently auditioned for Pinoy Big Brother.

Here Comes the bride of Star Cinema movie poster and official trailer

Here Comes The Bride' is a co-production of Star Cinema, Octo Arts Films & Quantum Films and I think it's the first time ever that Star Cinema is co-producing with (not just one but) two other film outfits.

Angelica Panganiban and Eugene Domingo lead the wacky cast, also composed of John Lapus, Tuesday Vargas and Jaime Fabregas.

I've seen the trailer and it's already funny.

Being introduced in the film is Pinoy Big Brother Double Up ex-housemate Tom Rodriguez.

Also starring are Cherry Pie Picache, Johnny Revilla, Bart Guingona, Ricky Rivero, Ricci Chan, Madeline Nicolas, Carizza 'Cai' Cortez, Ayen Munji, Neil Ryan Sese, Timothy Lambert Chan, Nico Antonio and with the special participation of Kuya Kim Atienza.

It's directed by Chris Martinez (the director of '100' and writer of 'Kimmy Dora').

Sam Pinto and Paul Jake spotted clubbing in cebu

...and they were so sweet daw.

Someone has posted on Twitter yesterday that he saw PBB ex-housemates Paul Jake Castillo and Sam Pinto so sweet at a club in Cebu. The tweet was, "I saw Paul Jake and Sam here in Cebu. Nag-clubbing sila...are they couple? Sweet nila."

Then another tweet from the same person, "Sweet acts nila talagang hinawakan ni PJ si Sam. Basta I couldn't explain kasi parang nag-hide silang dalawa."

The picture above (courtesy of geemarts/PEX/PJ thread) was allegedly taken at the said party where Paul Jake and Sam were seen together. Do they really look sweet? Or the camera failed to capture it?

It's unfair for the two if we conclude now that there is really 'something' between the two after the 'Boracay issue' where they were also seen sweet together.

But we can't blame people to make issue about them. The two just had their last taping day for 'Your song Presents: Isla' last Wednesday then Sam flew to Cebu the next day for a Honda event. Paul Jake also went back home in Cebu the same day. Isang flight lang kaya sila?

Then they were seen clubbing still in Cebu on Friday night. But the two were silent about their 'clubbing thing' on their respective Twitter accounts.

By the way, I hope ABS-CBN could give more projects to Paul Jake, who finished 2nd Big Placer on PBB and also has huge followers. After 'Isla', he doesn't have yet a follow-up project. In fact, Paul Jake had these two separate sentiments on Twitter. (March 30) "Ako lang ang housemate na wala na project after Isla...:) pero sana meron ulit." Then just yesterday (April 17) "Inde ko pa alam if meron pa ako next project...Pero sana meron... :)"

After arriving from Cebu, Sam meanwhile had a workshop last night for 'Agimat Presents: Elias Paniki' where she's gonna be paired with Jake Cuenca.

Rayver Cruz has admitted to Boy Abunda on The Buzz today that he was once confronted by Sarah Geronimo's father Delfin at the backstage of ASAP.

Rayver Cruz has admitted to Boy Abunda on The Buzz today that he was
once confronted by Sarah Geronimo's father Delfin at the backstage of
ASAP.

But Rayver stressed that they had a nice conversation and not a big
deal for him. That means, reports that Rayver was 'dinuru-duro' and
'pinagsalitaan ng masama' aren't true. Of course, even if it's true,
Rayver would just be a gentleman and simply tell everyone that it was
a nice talk.

Rayver however refused to divulge more details about the confrontation
and is hoping that his special friendship with Sarah wouldn't be
affected by what happened.

I was just disappointed that Rayver denied again that he and Sarah had
a serious relationship. I thought he's gonna confirm everything
because, why there was a sit-down interview with Boy Abunda in the
first place?

When asked about his feelings for Sarah, Rayver said that he loves
Sarah...as a friend who will remain special to him.

Jiro Shirakawa change the name to kenji shirakawa

He is known in the modeling world as Jiro Shirakawa, but this Fil-Japanese hottie who won in the Mossimo Bikini Summit '09 will be using the name Kenji Shirakawa as he joins the cast of Gimik 2010 on ABS-CBN.

I wonder why there was a change of name. Maybe Star Magic doesn't want to remember Jiro Manio out of him.

Kenji, who also appeared recently in TVC for KFC and DoubleMint, is one of the fresh faces to be launched in Gimik 2010. In the said show, Kenji will be a member of the GBOIS, a group of popular boys in the campus. So parang F4 lang?

Other GBOIS members in the show are Kazuo Nawa (also a Japinoy), Daniel Padilla and Jaco Benin.

Catch Kenji, the GBOIS and the rest of the gang on Gimik 2010 which premieres this Sunday, April 25, after ASAP XV.

Gimik 2010 the reunion

Gimik 2010 will bring back the original cast which includes Judy Ann Santos as Dianne, Diether Ocampo as Gary, G Toengi as Gina, Mylene Dizon as Melanie and Bojo Molina as Brian.

The teaser trailer didn't show other original cast like Marvin Agustin, Jolina Magdangal and Patrick Garcia, who are all now in GMA 7, but fans are still hoping to see them back in the show even for a short time.

But many are also excited to see the young, fresh and exciting new faces being introduced in Gimik 2010.

The young cast of Gimik 2010 include: Jessy Mendiola, Lance Christopher, Franco Daza, Mara Montes, Jaco Benin, Hanna Flores, Vangie Martelle, Kazuo Nawa, Janeena Chan, Albie Casiño, Daniel John Padilla, Marlan Flores, Arie Reyes, Jiro Shirakawa, Bea Candaza, Christine Patrimonio, Claudia Batzler and Fred Payawan. (Some of them are shown in the pics above)

I wasn't able to appreciate the original 'Gimik' back in 1996 'coz I was only 12 then. And now that 'Gimik' resurrects this 2010 (that's after more than 10 years) with lots of cuties, I'd make it sure that I'm not gonna miss a single episode of it.

Just last night, Charice has defended David Archuleta over the gay
issue that's haunting him recently.

The gay issue started when David was spotted at Club 57, a gay bar in
New York City. It turned out that David was invited by Charice to
watch her perform there.

David has already aired his side (See my post before this) and it's
Charice's turn to clear things up.

Also on Twitter, Charice seemingly alarmed for the unintentional
trouble she caused to David has posted this: "I just want to clear up
some things, about the Saturday night. David went to see me there
perform as a friend."

David and Charice started being friends when they both graced the
Macy's Thanksgiving Day party in 2008. Then they even had a duet for a
Christmas album last December 2009.

Charice then tweeted how she's grateful to have David as her friend:
"I am really thankful to have a great friend like David...Thank you
David for the support...But bottomline, David just showed his support
for me, and I wanna thank David for doing that."

To which David responded, "Aw haha thanks Charice! Sorry for causing
any problems, I know you didn't mean to cause any confusion."

I hope that ends the issue already.

Justin Bieber is now in tokyo but then in australia

16-year-old Canadian teen pop sensation Justin Bieber has arrived in
Tokyo, Japan today for a short appearance there.

Justin in fact has informed his more than 2 million followers on
Twitter that he's gonna check out Tokyo and buy some sneakers. "I'm in
Tokyo, Japan!!! Slept almost the entire flight. Trying to get to the
hotel and then go out and check out some sneaker stores."

Biebers fans in neighboring Asian countries have mixed reactions. Some
feel excited while others are envious and many are hoping that Bieber
will also tour other Asian countries.

One fan tweeted, "I wanna be in Japan with Justin Bieber shoppin' for
sneakers." Then another one said, "Attn Justin Bieber, no one in Japan
cares about you." And someone from Japan has tweeted, "That lil boy
Justin Bieber is here in Japan and everybody's freaking out. No lie I
didn't know who he was until I saw his video."

After Japan, Justin Bieber will fly to Sydney, Australia for a short
TV appearance on the morning show "Sunrise" of Channel 7.

Now, some Asian fans are asking, "When will Justin Bieber come to our
country?", a common question from those in Indonesia, Malaysia,
Philippines and Singapore.

I've read somewhere on the net that Justin Bieber will only stage
concerts in some Asian countries if his latest album 'My World 2.0"
will be sold out there or tons of units will be sold. I'm not sure if
it's true, but it might be true.

In fact, in the Philippines, Filipino fans have been buying the Bieber
album. On the latest album chart released by Odyssey music stores in
the Philippines, Bieber album is already the #1 top-seller. Check it
out:

1) 'My World 2.0' - Justin Bieber
2) 'Ikaw Na Nga' - Willie Revillame
3) 'The Fame Monster' - Lady Gaga
4) 'Byahe' - Noel Cabangon
5) 'KC' - Kc Concepcion
6) 'Fearless (Platinum Edition)' - Taylor Swift
7) 'I Star 15: Best of TV & Movie Themes' - Various Artists
8) 'Bugoy Drilon 2nd Album' - Bugoy Drilon
9) 'Only One' - U-Kiss
10) 'Addicted to Acoustic 2' - Princess Velasco

Francine Prieto is now officially a Kapamilya YEHEY! because she helps her mother

Francine Prieto, who has been a Kapuso for a long time, has officially
become a Kapamilya when she made her first appearance on the teleserye
'Kung Tayo'y Magkakayo' last night.

In the said soap, Francine plays Mrs. Olivia Smith, one of the
teachers in the pre-school owned by Celine and Frank (Kris Aquino and
Albert Martinez). Will she just be a teacher or has a major role to
play in the lives of Celine and Frank? That's exciting.

Francine also has a midnight show on DZMM TeleRadyo called 'Ka Date'
with Bobby Yan. On Twitter, Francine has nothing but thanks for the
blessings she has now. "Thank you DZMM and ABS-CBN! Soooooooobra! I'm
truly grateful," she said.

She also said that she doesn't have an exclusive contract yet with
ABS-CBN but confirms that she's officially a Kapamilya since her
projects now are from the network.

Francine is also open to the idea of guesting on 'Banana Split' with
Diana Zubiri. (Francine and Diana were both part of GMA 7's Bubble
Gang for a very long time.)

Babe I love You a Box Office Hit grosses 65.5 million in 9 days

The second week results of Babe I love you in the box office is a vast improvement over its first week cume, earning P65.5 million after 9 days. During our earlier post, we’ve reported that Box Office Mojo tallied the first-week gross of the Sam Milby and Anne Curtis starrer at a meager cume of P16.5 million. The result was below average, but some commenters noted that instead of the usual 5-day gross, the lower-than-expected gross was in fact only for 2 days because the third offering from Star Cinema for 2010 opened in theaters on Black Saturday (April 3) and not on a usual Wednesday.

At dahil in 9 days ay nakalikom na ang Babe I love You ng P65.5 million and on-track na ang pelikula to at least gross P80-P90 million para sa kanyang entire run, it’s safe to label the movie as Official Blockbuster Hit! Star Cinema in 2010 is three-out-of-three na sa box office, kaya congrats!

A controversial photo published in PinoyParazzi showing grabbing on “something” inside Derek Ramsay’s briefs/board shorts. ABS-CBN’s Talent arm, Star Magic issued a statement on the Derek Ramsay and Angelica Panganiban controversial photo that appeared in a tabloid cover recently. In the statement, Star Magic said (To Be Announced..they are still making the statement!). Meanwhile, we learned that the photo was taken by a close friend of Derek and Angelica two years ago in Boracay. Derek Ramsay already issued a statement awhile ago saying: “I don’t see anything wrong with the photo! It’s our own private photo with friends! We are having clean fun!!!! Star Cinema's "Sa'yo lamang" starring Bea Alonzo and Lorna Tolentino begins filming

KAPAMILYA star Bea Alonzo confirmed that she and veteran actress Lorna Tolentino will be shooting an upcoming film this month.

With a working title of "Sayo Lamang," the picture will be directed by acclaimed director Laurice Guillen who was also behind the success of movie “Tanging Yaman”.

Bea said they will start shooting the movie on April 19.

The project also features independent film prince Coco Martin, and love team Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales.

“I'm really really excited kasi sila yung nagturo sa akin na umarte so ngayon di ko alam kung kailangan kong magpa-impress but I'm sure talagang matututo ako,” Bea said in an interview.

In a separate interview, multi-awarded actress Lorna expressed her excitement on working with Bea again, whom she always referred to as one of the best actress in her generation.

“Nagulat ako nung napanood ko, na-excite din ako kasi now I know that its Bea kasi ang tagal na nung last naming trabaho together,” Lorna said.

“Habang nanonood ako sa lahat ng soap at movies nya, parang ang laki laki na talaga ng growth nya as an actress so I'm really excited to work with her again ngayong dalaga na sya,” she added.

The veteran actress also said their upcoming project is a must-see movie as the story will be like the critically acclaimed film "Tanging Yaman."

Bea and Lorna worked together 7 years ago via the hit soap opera "Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay," which lasted for two years in ABS-CBN.
